Salam.
So who is Gerald Celente? How did the name came about to me?
I received an email from my SGM on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 6.14pm. The subject was "U heard of Gerald Celente? Latest prediction is really scarry" and the recipient was all the staff at MAHB's HQ and operated airports in Malaysia!

Here goes the content of the email, summarized:

Gerald Celente Predicts Food Revolution in US

Gerald Celente is the CEO of Trends Research Institute, renowned for his accuracy in predicting future world and economic events.

He predicted that by 2012 America will become an undeveloped nation, that there will be a revolution marked by food riots, squatter rebellions, tax revolts and job marches, and that holidays will be more about obtaining food, not gifts.

His previous predictions:
1987 stock market crash, the fall of the Soviet Union, 1997 Asian Currency Crisis, the subprime mortgage collapse, massive devaluation of the U.S. dollar, "The Panic of 2008," - the collapse of Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and others.

The prospect of revolution was a concept echoed by a British Ministry of Defense report last year, which predicted that within 30 years, the growing gap between the super rich and the middle class, along with an urban under class threatening social order would mean. It's going to be very bleak, sad and there is going to be a lot of homeless, the likes of which we have never seen before. Tent cities are already sprouting up around the country and we're going to see many more.

There will be huge areas of vacant real estate and squatters living in them as well. It's going to be a picture the likes of which Americans are not going to be used to. It's going to come as a shock and with it, there's going to be a lot of crime. And the crime is going to be a lot worse than it was before because in the last 1929 Depression, people's minds weren't wrecked on all these modern drugs-over-the-counter drugs, or crystal meth or whatever it might be. So, you have a huge underclass of very desperate people with their minds chemically blown beyond anybody's comprehension.

So guys, either it is true or not, we'll wait and see...

Global economic turmoil. Why and How?

Yesterday I had a short discussion over the net using im with a friend of mine. A question raised in his mind: What (or Who) did trigger the economic turmoil? How did it happened?

Based on my 'readings' of the said global crisis, it is clear that all this while we are living in a system which are based on virtual or unreal transaction or financial activities. Everything is on an interest basis. All the shifting and movement of monetary is on ink and paper. Not real.

This human-created-system is short in life cycle. What did happened was the 'big guys' offered loans and financial package here and there, internally and externally. In return, they have indirect control power over them. Total control. The agenda.

So what when wrong? The bad of the system (Note: the system is already bad the moment it pop up in the human brain) the bulk of your cash is with the 'colonized client'. What happened was most of them were unable to abide to the agreed system, causing the 'big guys' 's reserve decreased over time - which ends up creating a huge chain reaction. Pulling out everybody out of the arena. Especially the financial institution which rely heavily on oversea investment or so called virtual transaction.

The solution:
"O you who believe! Obey Allâh and obey the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allâh and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), if you believe in Allâh and in the Last Day. Salam. Its November already... nearing to 1430 Hijriah...

I browsed Apple trailer site and found a movie on an interesting fact, or history perhaps. There is this new movie - "The beautiful truth" a documovie... Believe it or not.. There was a doctor who had found a cure for all disease in the world; specifically cancer. Dr Max Gerson.

He believed in no drugs and artificial medication to cure human sickness. Through prescribed diet, you are able to cure your disease within 8 months, approx. And the breakthrough was founded nearly 80 years ago! And he is a Jewish. And before the Holocaust.

2009 Budget Challenge

Alhamdulillah.. at last. I've completed the 2009 budget planning for my department, at least for today. My new job scope should be a simulator specialist, not finance. But who cares, as long as I could learn s0mething new. Today was my first time in a budget challenge session... I did not expect that the session was that tense. But the outcome was good. Budget challenge makes we think twice before we spend.

By the way, basically budgeting for a department in my company works this way: we would have Operational Expenditure (OPEX) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX).

OPEX is any rutine or daily expenditures such as salaries, computer leasing and rental cost, and utility bills.
In the other hand, CAPEX is divided into two (2), operational and development.
Operational CAPEX is expenditures related with operational matter. For example: Changing of deteriorated conveyor belt and its roller or something like resurfacing of runway.
Development CAPEX refers to any budget allocated for any new development works such building up new terminal building.
Then there is also CAPEX budgeting for Fixed Asset to be procured. For example: purchase of new file cabinet, computers etc.

It sounds simple. But when the numbers started to spin in your mind, the dizziness will pay you a visit... heh heh.. by the way, I had put 12Mil for my OPEX, and 87K for my CAPEX... :-)

Gathering cum Berbuka puasa

Yesterday, I attended the gath@majlis berbuka puasa at Atrium, Pyramid Hotel. Organized by zura, meor and ai. Heard that the crowd was 42 in total. Congratz... The food was great, but I'm into for small portion only. Have to start to control my eating lifestyle... so that I can live longer... insyaallah. By the way,I got myself a new stylus for my O2. It was a quite painstaking to type a word without one. Hmm... seeing that most of my friends going into slr photographies, I've this feeling of getting one too...

I've downloaded Google Chrome... clean interface, nice functions... but once the browser rolled out on the net, it seems that most of the IT techies are not happy with it. I read some of the comments and reviews, and I learned that Chrome is developed from an outdated web browser called Safari.
Hmm... Very disapointing...

A simple quote from a great personality, but has a deep meaning for those who has "brain". Hmmm, I should not stained my blog with analytical discussion of local politics here, but perhaps a random spot here and there would do.

By the way, I went to Izad's wed at Muar on August 17. Izad is one of my colleague in Malaysia Airports. Guess what? I cleared out my cash of RM100 for Tangkak durian and RM5 for pulasan. Was it worth? excellent. Small seed (biji) with thick flesh at RM6 per kilo.

salam sejahtera. reblog. yup, that's the right word. suddenly thinking of blogging again after a long long rest. so what do we have in store: fuel price hike, politic instability, inflation, world food crisis, US Dollar weakening, natural disaster... my personal view - earth is suffocating, people are depress, failure of existing gov system. god's will? perhaps. "suratan dan sirat" of the Creator. Are we ready for the worse?

by the way, my office will be relocate to Sepang in 2010. Hmm, I've several options in mind... searching for new jobs, move to Sepang and find a house there or just to and fro to Sepang everyday; well that for sure would burn out my pocket a lot.
